Job summary

Collective Hub, Inc. is seeking a Data Engineer to own and scale the data platform powering analytics, reporting, and AI across the company.

You will design, build, and maintain pipelines moving data from product, financial, and third‑party sources into a BigQuery warehouse, and model it into clean, well‑documented tables. You’ll collaborate with product engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders across Operations, Finance, and GTM, owning production systems end‑to‑end with a focus on data

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering or analytics engineering.
• Expert-level SQL and strong Python for building pipelines and tooling.
• Hands-on production experience with BigQuery, dbt, Fivetran, and an orchestrator (Airflow, Dagster, etc.).
• Deep understanding of dimensional modeling and layered warehouse architecture.
• Experience implementing data quality, monitoring, and data contracts.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable batch and event-driven data pipelines into BigQuery.
• Model data with dimensional designs and clear grain, naming, and documentation.
• Own data quality, testing, monitoring, and incident response end-to-end.
• Tune performance, partitioning, and cost of the data warehouse.
• Drive engineering standards: version control, CI/CD, and IaC across the stack.
• Ensure data security and compliance with privacy requirements.
• Partner with product, analytics, and business teams to translate needs into datasets.
• Support AI and analytics use cases with well-defined semantic layer and metrics.
