Job summary

GEI Consultants, Inc. seeks a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain data pipelines powering AI solutions and dashboards. You will integrate enterprise data sources, manage data stores, and enforce quality and governance across systems.

You will collaborate with AI engineers to define data contracts, optimize for schema, latency, and freshness, and contribute to secure, production-ready data infrastructure aligned with GEI standards.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building and operating production data pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL with Spark experience.
• Hands-on with Azure data services and data governance basics.
• Experience in ETL/ELT pipelines across diverse data sources.
• Familiarity with data modeling, schema design, and indexing for analytics/AI.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines for AI solutions and dashboards.
• Develop integrations across enterprise data sources using APIs and event-driven patterns.
• Maintain data stores and indexing for RAG and AI consumption.
• Implement data quality, lineage, and governance controls.
• Support data models for Power BI and AI analytics; ensure latency and freshness.
