Job summary

Thomson Reuters in Frisco, Texas is seeking an Agile Delivery Lead for AI and automation initiatives within Legal Service Management. You will guide the daily delivery of MVPs, collaborate with automation engineers, and shape a backlog that clearly prioritizes work to maximize learning and value.

The role emphasizes rapid feedback, breaking work into small increments, and turning evolving requirements into well-defined user stories, acceptance criteria, and definitions of done, while balancing

Qualifications

Experience leading daily Agile delivery of engineering/automation teams.
Deep understanding of small-batch delivery, MVPs, iterative delivery, feedback loops, and WIP limits.
Ability to turn ambiguous ideas into actionable backlog items with clear acceptance criteria.
Comfort working with senior engineers and automation specialists without formal authority.
Ability to measure software-delivery effectiveness and adapt.
Data-driven approach to flow improvement and decision support.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day Agile delivery of AI and automation experiments from idea through MVP and production.
Maintain a cardinally ordered backlog with clear priority.
Clarify outcomes and help write well-defined user stories, acceptance criteria, and definitions of done.
Facilitate backlog refinement, coordination, iteration planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Break opportunities into small increments, limit WIP, and focus on high-priority work.
Identify barriers, resolve ambiguity, and bring experts together to keep work moving.
Use delivery data to identify bottlenecks and communicate learning and value.
