Job summary

Maryland State Retirement Agency seeks a seasoned Project Manager II to lead Agile-driven initiatives in the Business Operations Office. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, translate business needs into epics, manage risks, and drive timely delivery across complex retirement system projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required.
• Five years of progressively responsible project management experience is required.
• Certification such as PMP/PMI-ACP/CSM/PSM or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Agile project plans, roadmaps, schedules, and milestones.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders across vendors and products.
• Translate business needs into epics, features, and user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Monitor risks, issues, dependencies, and progress; provide status reports to leadership.
• Ensure successful implementation, training, and transition to operations.
