Job summary

Orchid Insurance, part of Arrowhead Intermediaries, seeks an Agency Development Specialist in Tampa, FL. Hybrid work arrangement. You will cultivate agency relationships, drive new premium growth, and train agencies through webinars while maintaining detailed sales activity records in Salesforce.

You will partner with marketing and underwriting to relay product information, monitor KPI trends, and support agents to exceed engagement metrics. Occasional travel and in-person meetings may occur.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 plus years P&C industry experience.
• Previous account management experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software, such as Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate relationships with new and existing agents.
• Generate new premium growth through interaction with agencies via outbound calling and emailing.
• Train agencies via effective online webinars and follow-ups.
• Become a subject matter expert on product offerings and core systems.
• Provide general account management for agencies; maintain accurate records of sales activities via Salesforce.
• Collaborate with marketing to ensure consistent agent communication.
• Monitor KPIs with agents and address outliers.
• Communicate product modifications or new opportunities with product management and underwriting.
• Provide additional support for agents as directed by management.
• Aim to meet or exceed agency engagement metrics.
• Identify training opportunities from incomplete quote activity.
• Handle agent inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Occasionally interact in person with agents at locations or trade shows.
• Coordinate and manage trade show leads.
