Orchid Insurance in Tampa, FL is seeking an Agency Development Specialist to grow written premium by cultivating strong relationships with insurance agencies in inland and coastal regions. The role supports Agency Development Managers and Agents, with hybrid work arrangements and a focus on timely submissions and product knowledge.

You will train agencies via webinars, manage accounts in Salesforce, monitor performance, and coordinate with marketing and underwriting to optimize opportunities,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years P&C industry experience.
• Previous account management experience.
• Proactive about removing obstacles and getting results.
• Professional demeanor in a fast-paced production environment.
• Willing to represent the company with utmost professionalism.
• Team oriented, driven to meet deadlines in a high-volume setting.
• Proficient with MS Office and CRM like Salesforce.
• Comfortable talking to new people daily by phone or virtual meeting.
• Occasional travel, possibly overnight; own or rental vehicle may be needed.

Responsabilités

• Cultivate relationships with new and existing agents.
• Generate premium growth via outbound calls and emails.
• Train agencies via webinars and follow up on questions.
• Become a subject matter expert on products and core systems.
• Provide general account management and accurate Salesforce records.
• Collaborate with marketing for consistent agent communication.
• Monitor KPIs and address outliers with agents.
• Coordinate with product management and underwriting on opportunities.
• Support agents per management direction.
• Meet or exceed agency engagement goals; respond to inquiries promptly.
