Collins Aerospace is seeking a Reliability & Safety Engineer to guide reliability, maintainability, and safety activities for landing systems across aircraft platforms. The role requires STEM education and strong analytical skills, with English communication and US citizenship for access to program data.

The position is located in Aguadilla, PR, and follows a hybrid schedule with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. Relocation is not offered.

Qualifications

• STEM degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 2+ years of relevant experience or advanced degree accepted.
• Proficient in English communication (verbal and written).
• U.S. citizenship required for access to program/contract.

Responsabilités

• Provide Reliability/Maintainability/System Safety analyses and design guidance for mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components in landing systems.
• Perform FMEA/FMECA, System Safety, Hazard analyses, Fault Tree Analysis, and reliability predictions.
• Support design engineering, product support, and marketing in development and sustainment.
• Participate in landing system design through preliminary design to delivery, including certification.
