Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Aguadilla, PR is seeking an Engineering Analyst to support its Power & Controls organization. Hybrid role with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote, U.S. citizenship required.

Relocation not offered. You will coordinate data flow with vendors, validate data formatting, perform quality checks, and analyze data to derive business metrics. The role requires a STEM degree with extensive experience and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
• Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Point of contact for coordination of data flow with vendors (external facing).
• Review the formatting of the data to make sure it aligns with reliability data requirements (Spec2000).
• Perform data quality checks.
• Discuss with vendors and plan for correct execution of data flow.
• Understand context of technical data and how to appropriately normalize data into business metrics.
• Statistical analysis to quantify completeness and validity.
• Coordination with overall team for any data needs.
• Support team with any ad-hoc data related tasks.
