Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Deer Valley, Arizona, is seeking a Sr. Eng PM within the CNS COE to lead and manage large engineering projects in the Weather Radar product line.

You will define scope, objectives, deliverables, and develop plans with cross-functional teams on a hybrid schedule. The role demands strong project management and technical leadership, mentoring engineers, driving process improvements, and delivering on-time results while ensuring aviation safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must have 10+ years of project experience or technical CM role developing FAA/EASA certified commercial avionics systems in the Aerospace industry
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
• Experience with CNS products and PE processes is valued

Responsibilities

• Lead proposals, statements of work and associated cost estimates
• Serve as the technical point of contact for customers and the program manager
• Define and implement project scope, objectives, deliverables, prepare schedules and resource forecasting in Microsoft project
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets using Earned Value Management (EVM) metrics
• Lead a robust risk management process to identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery
• Contain scope growth through robust baseline change management
• Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders to provide project updates and address concerns
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and practices
