Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace seeks a Principal Project Engineer for the CNS COE in Deer Valley, AZ. You will lead and manage complex hardware projects, defining scope, objectives, and deliverables with cross-functional teams across global sites.

Strong focus on aviation safety, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement in project management processes. You will report to the Director of Project Engineering and operate on a hybrid schedule from the Deer Valley location, collaborating with teams in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
• Minimum 8 years of project experience or technical CM role developing FAA/EASA certified commercial avionics systems in the Aerospace industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage large hardware engineering projects in the weather radar product line.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, schedules and resource forecasting in Microsoft Project.
• Monitor progress and adherence to timelines and budgets using EVM metrics.
• Lead risk management and baseline change management to contain scope growth.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns.
