Job summary

FreeWheel, a Comcast company, seeks a proactive Support Engineer for our New York office. You’ll deconstruct complex problems, craft comprehensive solutions, and work closely with clients to ensure reliable ad tech performance.

Onsite four days a week with one day remote, you’ll collaborate across teams to deliver clear guidance and durable fixes. The role requires a CS/engineering degree, experience in online advertising tech, and strong SQL/HTTP/RESTful API skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Experience in online advertising/internet marketing or video/TV advertising tech in a customer-facing role is preferred.
• Create and maintain documentation for adtech platforms, including runbooks, API references, and specs.
• Familiarity with IAB standards including VAST, openRTB.
• Data analysis and processing using SQL, curl, etc.
• Web technologies such as HTTP, HTML5, XML, etc.
• Object Oriented Programming: JS, Python, etc.
• Experience developing against RESTful APIs.
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
• Creative thinker who solves complex problems and balances priorities.
• Interest in Premium Video and impact on TV.
