The Admissions Counselor at University of Massachusetts Boston develops and implements recruitment activities to attract students, manages a recruitment territory, and represents the university at high school and college fairs while building relationships with high schools.

The role conducts interviews, provides enrollment counseling, reviews applications for freshmen and transfers, and liaises with on- and off-campus constituents. A hybrid model may be available depending on department needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1-3 years' experience required.
• Evenings/weekends availability.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Flexible schedule and ability to travel within recruitment territory.

Responsabilités

• Develop and/or implement recruitment activities to attract students to the university; conduct recruiting activities, including scheduling school visits, interviewing and information sessions, attending events and building partnerships.
• Manage a recruitment territory and represent the university at high school and college fairs.
• Conduct interviews and provide enrollment counseling for prospective students.
• Review applications and render admission decisions for freshmen and transfer applicants.
• Serve as liaison with various on- and off-campus constituencies.
• Serve as agent on the office main telephone number queuing system.
• Perform other duties as assigned
