Job summary

UMass Boston is seeking an Admissions Counselor to develop and implement recruitment activities, manage a recruitment territory, and represent the university at high school and college fairs. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 1–3 years' experience required.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and reliable transportation for territory travel.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement recruitment activities to attract students.
• Manage a recruitment territory and represent the university at fairs.
• Conduct interviews and provide enrollment counseling for prospective students.
• Review applications and render admission decisions for freshmen and transfers.
• Serve as liaison with on- and off-campus constituents.
• Assist with office phone queue and other duties as assigned.
