Job summary

The University of Chicago Law School seeks an Admissions Coordinator who will support the admissions processes, collaborate with student services managers, and help implement procedures for new student initiatives.

You will manage inquiries, process applications for JD, Transfer, and MLS programs, coordinate events for admitted students, and help ensure accurate data and timely communications with applicants and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• Less than 2 years of related work experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with web content management systems.
• Aptitude for learning software programs and admissions databases.

Responsibilities

• Provide prospective student information and assistance for admissions and graduate programs.
• Manage the Admissions inbox and answer calls for the Admissions Office.
• Upload data into, send emails from, and pull reports in Admissions database system to support recruiting efforts and application process.
• Process JD, Transfer, and MLS online applications and supports application processes.
• Provide administrative and event support to the Doctoroff Program and Rubenstein Program.
• Prepare materials for and help execute applicant and student programs and visits, and process student reimbursements.
• Coordinate logistics for major student functions, including admitted students events and graduate student orientation.
