Job summary

The University of Chicago Law School seeks an Associate Director of Judicial Clerkships and Advising to join its career services team. You will lead judicial clerkships initiatives and provide comprehensive counseling to JD and LLM students and alumni, reporting to the Director of Judicial Clerkships.

Responsibilities include program development, stakeholder collaboration, data tracking, and outreach to judges, faculty, and alumni to expand opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a college or university degree in related field.
• Minimum of 5–7 years of work experience in a related job discipline.
• Preference for a JD or master’s degree in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Director in managing judicial clerkship and internship programs with strategic planning and collaboration.
• Plans and delivers career counseling, coaching, outreach, and programming for clerkships and internships.
• Tracks data and reports on clerkship applications, interviews, and hiring.
• Prepares materials and agendas for committees and data requests.
• Creates and updates judicial resources and communications across platforms.
