Job summary

NACBA is seeking an actuary on the Rate Indications team in Boston, MA to lead complex pricing analyses for personal lines property and related actuarial activities. You will develop models, provide insights to partners, and present recommendations on pricing strategies.

This role requires ACAS or FCAS designation, extensive experience in pricing, ratemaking, and modeling, and offers relocation support with a hybrid work arrangement. Up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of property and casualty pricing and trends.
• Expertise in pricing, ratemaking, loss reserving, and modeling.
• Ability to perform statistical analyses and data forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform complex pricing analyses for personal lines pricing.
• Develop models and projections to support sound pricing decisions.
• Present findings and recommendations to partners across the organization.
• Coordinate rate reviews and contribute to pricing strategy discussions.
• Maintain responsibility for indication development and recurring processes.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform actuarial strategies.
• Prepare annual statements related to loss and LAE expenses.
