Job summary

THREE Insurance seeks an Associate Actuary to lead complex actuarial analyses and influence business decisions. You will own pricing, product development, and regulatory filings while partnering with underwriting and product teams in Stamford, CT.

The role requires ACAS toward FCAS, 5+ years in P&C pricing/reserving, and strong SQL/R/Python/VBA skills, with a hybrid in-office schedule at Stamford two days per week.

Qualifications

• Approaching ACAS designation and pursuing FCAS.
• 5+ years actuarial pricing/reserving experience in Property & Casualty.
• Proficiency in SQL, R, Python, or VBA.
• Prior experience with rate filings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead rate indications, reserving analyses, profitability studies across BOP, Umbrella, Workers' Compensation, and Commercial Auto, owning work from analysis through implementation.
• Provide actuarial support across a diverse product set, including liquor liability and catastrophe-exposed perils.
• Support the development and filing of rate changes with regulatory bodies.
• Apply business and actuarial expertise to develop effective, well-informed solutions.
• Mentor and support the development of junior analysts.
• Present analyses and recommendations clearly to influence decisions.
