Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required. Near to recent ACAS preferred.
• Minimum 4+ years of Property and Casualty actuarial experience; reserving experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply sound actuarial judgment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex analyses into business insights.

Responsibilities

• Complete reserve studies and advise management on reserve decisions, including insights into key drivers of change.
• Develop and maintain monitoring tools such as actual loss vs expectation and reserving diagnostics.
• Partner with Claims to develop insights and inform reserve decisions.
• Analyze portfolio performance, emerging claim trends, and significant loss activity to inform reserve decisions and business strategy.
• Drive improvements in data quality, portfolio monitoring, and actuarial processes through innovative solutions, controls, governance, and ongoing process enhancements.
