Job summary

Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions is seeking an Actuarial Manager to join the Corporate Actuarial team, working in Plymouth, MN or Boston, MA on a hybrid schedule. The role directs actuarial analyses, pricing strategy development and reserving with senior-level guidance.

We expect 5+ years of P&C actuarial experience and FCAS/ACAS. The base salary ranges reflect location-based variations, with bonus potential and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, math/statistics focus preferred
• Advanced knowledge of ratemaking, loss reserving and forecasting
• Five or more years of property and casualty actuarial experience
• FCAS or ACAS designation expected

Responsibilities

• Lead actuarial analyses to develop pricing strategies and loss reserving
• Apply analyses to inform strategic pricing and forecasting
• Identify data issues and correct them for accurate results
• Develop and train actuarial staff with limited guidance
