Job summary

CFS, based in Denver, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst to join a collaborative Accounting & Finance team. The role focuses on reconciliations, cash applications, and data analysis within a fast-paced eCommerce environment.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in AR or related functions, strong Excel skills, and experience with NetSuite. This full-time, hybrid position offers growth opportunities and a chance to impact cash flow.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Accounts Receivable, Cash Applications, or related accounting function.
• Experience with reconciliations and high-volume financial transactions.
• Intermediate Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).
• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP system.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile daily eCommerce transactions, customer payments, and bank deposits to ensure accuracy.
• Process and apply customer payments while maintaining accurate accounts receivable records.
• Research and resolve discrepancies involving cash receipts, refunds, chargebacks, and payment variances.
• Investigate unapplied cash, customer deductions, and invoice discrepancies.
• Review accounts receivable aging reports and assist with collections and outstanding balances.
• Download, organize, and analyze large volumes of transactional data using Excel.
• Maintain accurate customer account balances and reconciliation documentation within the ERP system.
• Collaborate with internal teams to investigate payment issues and resolve account discrepancies.
• Assist with credit administration, customer account inquiries, and payment disputes.
• Identify opportunities to streamline reconciliation processes and improve efficiency.
• Support month-end accounting activities and financial reporting as needed.
