The ideal candidate has construction accounting expertise, 5+ years in accounting and AP, and strong Excel/ERP experience. The role emphasizes collaboration, accuracy, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Construction industry experience required.
• 5+ years in Accounting & Accounts Payable with full understanding of General Ledger & job costing.
• Proficiency in ERP systems related to the construction industry; Acumatica experience a plus.
• Strong Excel & Office Suite skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing Accounts Payable team responsible for efficient invoice processing, payment management, and service delivery.
• Train all new department employees.
• Verify amounts against purchase orders or other documents; enter invoice details into payables systems and create payments.
• Research discrepancies or missing payments.
• Collaborate with accounting & operations at all levels.
• Manage full-cycle AP processing in high-volume environment with 2- and 3-way matching.
• Select invoices for payment weekly based on terms.
• Ensure invoices are coded to correct G/L accounts.
