Job summary

KIPP TEAM & Family is seeking an Accounts Payable Associate to support day-to-day vendor payments, maintain records, and ensure accurate processing in a high-volume environment. The role reports to the AP Manager within a multi-entity nonprofit network serving New Jersey and Miami.

Hybrid role based in Newark/Camden, NJ or remote with preferred proximity to Newark. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, a 403b plan, and generous time off.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–5 years in accounts payable or similar in high-volume environments.
• Experience with Coupa or Sage Intacct preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process PO-backed invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
• Review, validate, and enter invoices with proper GL coding and approvals.
• Monitor invoice status and follow up on outstanding approvals.
• Collaborate with Purchasing and Technology to resolve PO issues and workflow bottlenecks.
