Job summary

Great American Media is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to handle procure-to-pay processes, PO creation, bill processing, and payment monitoring in a hybrid role at our Arlington, TX headquarters. The position reports to the Senior Accounting Manager and requires strong Excel skills and NetSuite experience.

The ideal candidate will maintain general ledger integrity, perform period-end close tasks, and assist with financial reporting while collaborating across departments.

Qualifications

• 1 year of accounting and/or accounts payable experience required; preferably in the media industry.
• Solid MS Office skills, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work standard business hours with CT timezone.

Responsibilities

• Assist with procure-to-pay process including PO creation, bill processing/approval, and payment monitoring.
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations for period-end close.
• Assist in maintaining detailed balance sheet reconciliations and financial data.
• Support audits and maintain confidentiality of financial information.
