Phillip Jeffries is seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant in Fairfield, NJ to join the Finance team. This hybrid role requires onsite presence at least three days per week and focuses on accurate payment processing, vendor management, and financial record integrity.

You will handle invoices, reconciliations, and expense reports while collaborating cross-functionally. The compensation package includes a competitive salary and annual bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Prior accounts payable or finance experience preferred.
• Understanding of basic accounting and bookkeeping principles.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and timely.
• Review vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Support weekly payments (check, ACH, wire).
• Assist with 1099 preparation and year-end reporting.
• Generate and analyze accounts payable reports.
• Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics, Sales, and IT.
