Benson Integrated Marketing Solutions, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager for a hybrid role in Alpharetta, GA. The role leads day-to-day AP, ensuring timely invoice processing, payments, and strong financial controls, reporting to the Controller, with a team of AP professionals.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in AP with 2+ years of leadership, excels in Excel and Power BI, and will drive month-end close support and process improvements within a collaborative finance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred; combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive Accounts Payable or accounting experience with responsibility over AP processes and controls.
• Minimum of 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience, including coaching and performance management.
• Strong knowledge of AP processes, accounting principles, and financial controls.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all Accounts Payable activities including invoice processing and vendor management.
• Supervise and develop Accounts Payable team members and manage workload distribution.
• Ensure compliance with policies, internal controls, audit requirements, and tax regulations (1099 reporting).
• Support month-end and year-end close processes with reconciliations, reporting, and accrual management.
• Utilize Pace, Microsoft Office, and Power BI to manage transactions and provide reporting insights to leadership.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service levels across AP.
