Job summary

EmployBridge is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to oversee daily AP operations in a hybrid role based in Duluth, GA. You will lead an offshore AP team, ensure timely invoice processing and payments, and maintain strong internal controls while supporting month-end and year-end close.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in AP or accounting, 3+ years in supervisory roles, and experience with ERP and AP automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is preferred.
• 5+ years of Accounts Payable or accounting experience.
• 3+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead offshore Accounts Payable team members to meet SLAs.
• Oversee daily AP workflow: invoices, payments, expenses, reconciliations.
• Monitor productivity, workload, and service levels to meet targets.
• Provide training, mentoring, and performance guidance to AP staff.
• Assist onboarding and development of new employees with procedures and controls.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities for AP.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and controls.
• Document standard operating procedures and process controls.
• Assist with 1099 reporting and IRS compliance.
• Provide guidance on complex transactions and process questions.
• Support system implementations, upgrades, testing, and enhancements.
• Investigate and resolve complex AP issues and delays.
