Job summary

River Crossing YMCA in Doylestown, PA is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to oversee a high-volume AP function within a hybrid full-time role. You will manage vendor invoices, utilize SAP Concur for expense processing, and ensure timely payments while maintaining strong internal controls.

The role requires 4+ years in AP, a relevant accounting degree, and proficiency in Excel. You will collaborate with cross-location teams, handle month-end processes, and support audits while driving process

Qualifications

• 4+ years of accounts payable experience with automated invoice processing software such as SAP Concur.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience in a matrix or multi-location organization.
• Experience with journal entries and general ledger reconciliations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with advanced functions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teams and vendors.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills with a process-improvement mindset.
• Experience with ERP systems and other accounting software.
• Knowledge of GAAP and internal controls for AP.

Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of vendor invoices with accuracy and timely payments.
• Use SAP Concur to manage company credit card expenses and ensure policy compliance.
• Reconcile AP ledger and other payable accounts.
• Prepare and process payment runs (checks, ACH, wires) and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain vendor files, set up vendors, collect W‑9s, ensure compliance docs.
• Generate AP reports and assist with month-end closing.
• Collaborate with the finance team to record AP transactions accurately.
• Assist audits with documentation and explanations.
• Identify and implement AP process improvements.
• Ensure internal controls and accounting policy compliance.
• Form 1099 preparation.
