Tetra Tech is seeking an Accounting Specialist for our Madison office. You will handle invoices, payments, forecasting, and reporting in a hybrid work environment, with strong emphasis on Oracle and GAAP compliance.

The role requires 2+ years of accounting experience (1+ year with Oracle), Excel proficiency, and excellent analytical and communication skills. Starting salary ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Minimum of two years accounting experience, with at least 1 year Oracle experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Invoicing and Billing – generate, review, and send invoices monthly.
• Payment Processing – monitor payments posted in Oracle.
• Collections – follow up on overdue invoices and resolve delays.
• Reconciliation – reconcile AR ledger and ensure proper posting.
• Dispute Resolution – investigate billing disputes with clients.
• Reporting – prepare delinquency reports and assist month-end closing.
• Customer Service – maintain relationships regarding account inquiries.
