Goodwin Recruiting is seeking an Accounting Manager in Columbia, MO for a hybrid role with exposure to multiple industries including real estate and technology. You will lead a growing accounting team, partner with the Controller, and help implement ERP transitions while ensuring GAAP-compliant reporting.

The role requires 3–5 years of managerial accounting experience, a degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA or Masters preferred), and strong communication with cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; Masters or CPA preferred.
• 3–5 years of progressive managerial accounting experience with full-cycle accounting.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and month-end close.
• Ability to manage priorities and adapt to changing systems.
• Strong communication and collaborative leadership.
• Experience with multi-entity accounting and QuickBooks preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead multi-entity accounting operations and close processes.
• Develop staff and senior accountants; oversee GL and accounting operations.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, fixed assets, and consolidated FS.
• Ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting.
• Analyze results and KPIs to support business decisions.
• Strengthen internal controls and improve processes.
• Support ERP transitions, acquisitions due diligence, integrations, and audits.
• Collaborate with Controller and cross-functional teams.
