You will supervise staff and coordinate with the Controller to improve systems, close processes, and GAAP-compliant reporting. The position offers exposure to real estate and other industries with ERP implementations and business integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; Masters or CPA preferred.
• 3–5 years of progressive managerial accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end close.
• Experience with multi-entity accounting and QuickBooks preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaborative leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-entity accounting operations and close processes.
• Manage and develop staff and senior accountants; oversee GL.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, fixed assets, and consolidated statements.
• Ensure GAAP-compliant financial reporting.
• Analyze results and KPIs to support business decisions.
• Strengthen internal controls and improve processes.
• Support ERP transitions, acquisitions due diligence, integrations, and audits.
• Partner with Controller and cross-functional teams.

What You’ll Do

• Lead multi-entity accounting operations and monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
• Manage and develop Staff and Senior Accountants while overseeing GL and accounting operations.
• Review journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, fixed assets, and consolidated financial statements.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP.
• Analyze financial results and key performance indicators to support business decisions.
• Strengthen internal controls and improve accounting processes.
• Support ERP transitions, acquisition due diligence, integrations, and annual audits.
• Partner with the Controller and cross-functional teams across the organization.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, Masters or CPA preferred.
• At least 3 to 5 years of progressive managerial accounting experience with strong full-cycle accounting knowledge.
• In-depth understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end close.
• Ability to solve problems independently, manage competing priorities, and adapt to changing systems.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative leadership approach.
• Management experience, multi-entity accounting experience, and QuickBooks knowledge preferred.
