Job summary

Red Ventures is seeking an Accounting Manager to join our accounting team in the South Charlotte, NC headquarters. This role will oversee accounting functions, ensure GAAP compliance, and partner with leadership on staff development.

The position requires 6+ years in accounting with leadership experience; CPA is a plus. Hybrid schedule includes on-site Tue–Thu and remote Mon & Fri, with comprehensive benefits packages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance required; CPA a plus.
• 6+ years in accounting, financial reporting, or public accounting with leadership experience.
• Experience with financial systems and reporting packages; strong Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and coach staff; review work products for improvement opportunities.
• Oversee timely completion of staff work; plan workload and responsibilities.
• Prepare month-end financial statements and reports for multiple units.
• Lead annual external audit processes and coordinate with regulators and auditors.
• Provide technical accounting support for complex transactions, acquisitions, and new standards.
• Ensure GAAP compliance (ASC 606, FASB 86) and capitalization guidelines.
• Automate processes and reports using accounting systems where possible.
