Platform Accounting Group in Greenville, SC is seeking a Business Advisory Manager to lead client engagements, supervise junior staff, and deliver timely financial statements and advisory services. The role combines hands-on accounting duties with leadership across multiple clients in various industries.

The ideal candidate has 5–15 years of accounting experience, CPA preferred, and strong communication and project-management skills. Hybrid work options and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• 5 - 15 years of professional accounting experience.
• Ability to create and understand accurate financial statements.
• Experience with NetSuite and Sage Intacct a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent experience), Master’s Degree preferred.
• CPA preferred.
• Superior accuracy and technical expertise, knowledge of client industries.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, strong analytical skills.
• Expert use of accounting software & systems, and ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive problem solving and project management.

Responsibilities

• Manage all client work and engagements.
• Teach, coach, and train team members at various levels.
• Oversee and review work from entry level and senior staff.
• Provide accounting and advisory services for diverse clients and industries.
• Perform general accounting duties including transactions, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Perform complex adjustments and clean-ups of books and records.
• Prepare financial reports following GAAP and accounting standards.
• Set up accounting systems for new clients through QuickBooks Online.
• Prepare and file sales tax returns and report fixed assets.
• Provide high-level advisory services and research to clients.
