Stonecroft Ministries, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Associate to join the finance team. The role handles accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and GL support, contributing to timely financial reporting and oversight.

You will assist with financial statements, budgets, and year-end processes, supporting cross-departmental finance needs while upholding accuracy and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 1-3 years of recent bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication.
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

Responsabilités

• Perform day to day accounting and finance functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements and receipts and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with preparation of financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow).
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist with budget preparation and tracking.
• Support the month end close process and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Assist with payroll reconciliation and benefit-related accounting.
• Track expenses by grant or program and maintain supporting documentation.
