Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking an Accountant II to join the IPS Segment Accounting team. The role supports centralized accounting for multiple entities, preparing journal entries, reconciliations, intercompany activities, and cash application while collaborating with corporate and local teams.

The position offers growth opportunities and requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance with 2-5 years of experience; manufacturing exposure and SAP/OneStream familiarity are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (advanced degree or CPA preferred).
• 2-5 years of relevant accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post monthly and quarterly journal entries, including review of the general ledger for accuracy.
• Support intercompany accounting activities, including intercompany balancing and invoicing.
• Perform timely balance sheet reconciliations and reviews; investigate and resolve variances.
• Support inventory accounting activities, including standard costing, annual cost updates, book-to-perpetual reconciliations, and cycle counts.
• Support cash application activities, including researching unapplied or misapplied cash and coordinating with AR/AP teams.
• Partner with corporate and local entity accounting teams to resolve issues and ensure accurate financial reporting across multiple entities.
• Provide accounting and data support to Operational Management and FP&A teams as needed.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests by providing supporting documentation and analysis.
• Ensure tasks comply with GAAP and corporate policies; support process improvements and controls.
