INX International is seeking a detail‑oriented accountant to support a chemical company division. You will prepare financial statements, handle intercompany activities, and manage SAP REFX lease accounting, while supporting month‑end closes and audits.

The role requires 3 years of general accounting in manufacturing, strong Excel/Access skills, and adherence to GAAP with attention to detail. Hybrid work eligibility begins after training, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifikationen

• Have an Accounting degree or higher educational experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in general ledger functions (accounts payable, accounts receivable).
• Have 3 years of General Accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Pay strong attention to detail and have a high degree of accuracy, good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in computer-based applications, including Microsoft Excel and Access.
• Seasonal overtime is required (quarterly reporting).

Aufgaben

• Prepare financial statements for affiliates, including SAP journal entries, intercompany accounting, fixed asset accounting, and debt roll forward activities.
• Compile and report financial information to the parent company through DIVA, including responding to analytical inquiries and requests.
• Manage customer rebate programs, including accrual calculations, contract reviews, reserve analyses, settlement processing, financial reporting, and compliance with accounting guidance and internal controls.
• Perform SAP REFX lease accounting and fixed asset activities, including day-to-day transaction support, month-end close responsibilities, audit support, and system enhancement initiatives.
• Review monthly operating expenses, investigate variances and fluctuations, and prepare necessary reclassification entries.
• Create and maintain recurring journal entries and support documentation.
• Reconcile multiple domestic and foreign currency bank accounts and prepare required adjusting entries.
• Prepare and record foreign currency transactions and valuations in SAP.
• Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting, internal management reporting, and government survey requirements.
• Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with JSOX, GAAP, and company policies.
• Complete special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
