XPO is seeking an Accountant for a hybrid role in Charlotte, NC. You will compile and analyze accounting data, maintain general ledger accounts, and support month-end close processes.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), at least 1 year of accounting or financial reporting experience, and a strong data-analysis mindset. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree or CPA, plus 3+ years’ experience.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience.
• 1 year of accounting or financial reporting experience.
• Master’s degree preferred; CPA certification; 3+ years of experience (Big Four preferred).

Aufgaben

• Ensure accurate and timely compilation of accounting information and maintain general ledger accounts with journal entries and month-end close.
• Perform daily and monthly account reconciliations for all assigned accounts.
• Analyze and investigate transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Research questions for management; explain variances to expectations and trends.
• Participate in cross-functional teams and improve XPO’s processes and documentation.
• Review and apply GAAP concepts to contracts, transactions, and activities as applicable.
