Job summary

P3 Health Partners is seeking an Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and month-end close. The role contributes to financial reporting, audits, and internal controls within a collaborative accounting team. A hybrid schedule is offered with in-office days three per week.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of accounting experience, GAAP knowledge, and strong Excel skills, plus familiarity with NetSuite or other ERP systems.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of accounting experience preferred (internships or public/private experience acceptable).
• Understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• ERP system experience (NetSuite preferred, not required).
• Experience in a publicly traded corporate environment (preferred, not required).
• Experience in Microsoft Office, proficiency in Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and record journal entries for the monthly close activities.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing supporting documentation.
• Help ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting controls, policies, and procedures.
• Assist in maintaining documentation for accounting processes and procedures.
• Prepare and maintain various accounting reports, analyses, and ad hoc requests.
• Support special projects and other duties as assigned.
