Job summary

North Shore Community College is seeking a Part-Time Assistive Technology Learning Specialist/Accessibility Counselor at the Lynn campus. The role focuses on helping students with documented disabilities access assistive technology and related accommodations.

The position is hybrid, part-time (20 hours/week), with a schedule of Monday through Thursday 9am–2pm. Contract renewals depend on budget and semester needs. Sponsorships are not provided at this time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required.
• Experience working with students and/or individuals with disabilities.
• Knowledge of a variety of Assistive Technology tools including JAWS and Kurzweil.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with accessing assistive technology in the lab.
• Conduct intakes and evaluate documentation for accommodations.
• Provide academic tutoring and training on assistive technology use.
