North Shore Community College is seeking a Part-Time Assistive Technology Learning Specialist/Accessibility Counselor at the Lynn campus. The role focuses on helping students with documented disabilities access assistive technology and related accommodations.

Under general supervision, the purpose of the classification is to assist college students who have documented disabilities. This is a hybrid position in which part of the work is assisting students with accessing assistive technology specific to their individual needs in the Assistive Technology Lab. The other duties of this position would include work that is related to the functions of an accessibility counselor. This includes conducting Intakes, evaluating submitted documentation, making accommodation decisions as a team member, consulting with students and staff related to accommodations governed by the ADAAA, Section 504 and Section 508.
