The ideal candidate holds an Arizona Provisional or Standard Secondary Education 6-12 certificate and a BA/BS degree. The role includes preparing curricula, counseling students, administering tests, maintaining records, and participating in school activities and community events.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required.
• Arizona Provisional or Standard Secondary Education 6-12 certificate required.
• Provisional or Standard certificate preferred for teaching in Arizona.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in multiple subjects using diverse teaching methods.
• Prepare course outlines following state curriculum requirements.
• Counsel students on academic progress and course selection.
• Meet with students and parents to discuss progress and plan.
• Administer tests and maintain attendance and transcripts.
• Participate in faculty meetings, training, and community activities.
