Hy-Vee is seeking a Hy-Chi Department Clerk to fill customer orders, prepare and replenish products, and keep the Hy-Chi area running smoothly. You will deliver friendly service, check product freshness, and maintain a clean work environment in a fast-paced grocery setting.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience or demonstrated friendliness and teamwork.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with attention to detail.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, counting and recording.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take orders at the Hy-Chi counter and assist them throughout the store.
• Develop or follow a production list to ensure adequate food supply.
• Prepare, finish, and replenish products and maintain freshness and quality.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work area and follow sanitation procedures.
• Operate the department register, handle payments, and give change as needed.
• Support ordering and pricing for customers and assist with inquiries.
