Hy-Vee’s Hy-Chi Department Clerk role is a fast-paced, customer-facing position supporting the Hy-Chi counter, prep, and stocking tasks to ensure a clean, friendly service area for shoppers. A high school diploma or equivalent and up to six months of related experience are typical, with training provided.

You will greet customers, take orders, stock products, check freshness, operate the POS, and help maintain department standards throughout the shift in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience. Training provided.
• Ability to perform basic math operations (addition, subtraction, counting, recording).
• Strong customer service mindset and team collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers and taking orders at the Hy-Chi counter.
• Develop or follow production list to ensure adequate food supply.
• Prepare, finish, and replenish products; pull from cooler/freezer as needed.
• Maintain freshness and quality standards throughout the shift.
