Job summary

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers and assisting them at the Hy-Chi counter.
• Review orders for the day and ensure adequate food supply using a production list.
• Prepare, finish, and replenish product; pull items from cooler/freezer for cooking.
• Check freshness and maintain quality standards throughout the shift.
• Check in product, restock, and review invoices as needed.
• Run the department register, process payments, and make change.
• Practice proper sanitation and keep the work area clean and safe.
• Remove trash and wash dishes as necessary.
• Order product and supplies and price items for customers.
• Answer phones and provide friendly service, including taking orders.
• Follow Hy-Vee dress code, hygiene standards, and department guidelines.
• Help with other tasks or special projects as needed.
