Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a hardware-in-the-loop engineer to design, build, and integrate advanced testing environments for missiles. You will collaborate with weapon system engineers to meet requirements and deploy capabilities for tactical software development and delivery.

The role is 100% on-site at our Tucson campus and requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD secret clearance. A bachelor’s degree in CS/SE and up to 12 months of experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• 0–12 months of professional experience (excluding internships).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Work on a multi-disciplinary team to support systems integration.
• Troubleshoot and analyze failures, perform root cause and corrective action.
• Integrate software, firmware, and hardware in a lab environment for complex systems.
