Job summary

Raytheon in Tucson, AZ seeks a design engineer to join multidisciplinary teams delivering missile flight simulation systems. You will integrate engineering, test interfaces, and cabling, with emphasis on robust design and verification.

The role requires a STEM degree and 2+ years of experience in analog/digital/RF design or VHDL/Verilog for FPGAs, along with U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience performing analog, digital, and/or RF design, or VHDL/Verilog development for FPGAs.

Responsibilities

• You will be a member of multidiscipline engineering teams performing design, development, and integration of missile flight simulation systems.
• Typical work involves the development of these engineering, test interface adapters, cabling, technical drawing creation, schematic creation, circuit design and analysis.
• Your work will be responsible for performing technical, cost and schedule management of their assigned projects.
• You will be expected to act, either as a part of the team or independently, to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of these complex systems.
