Job summary

Copeland is seeking a Product Support Engineer for our Rushville, IN facility. You will be the on-site technical authority bridging manufacturing and product engineering, resolving issues, optimizing processes and minimizing downtime through proactive and reactive factory-floor support.

You will perform on-site inspections for quality/compliance, troubleshoot design or machine issues, and maintain high customer satisfaction by ensuring post-sales technical support and communication across

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another relevant technical field.
Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
Attention to detail, strong organization skills and the ability to work independently or with a team.
Results-driven with a customer service mindset a plus.

Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate cross-functional efforts to complete projects.
Provide product engineering support including pilot parts, runs, and data; coordinate ECN status and deviations.
Support plant operations including production, in-plant quality and engineering needs.
Lead troubleshooting activities to resolve customer, plant or engineering problems.
Contribute to quality improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
Analyze and present data as needed.
Demonstrate understanding of the functional role.
