Job summary

Copeland is seeking a Product Manager to own the full product lifecycle, from concept through obsolescence, translating market needs into profitable, differentiated solutions. You will develop roadmaps, set priorities to optimize margins, and ensure data integrity across the lifecycle.

This onsite role is based in Sidney, OH and requires 3+ years in product management or related technical roles, a strong technical background, leadership and communication skills, and the ability to influence

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in engineering, business, or related field.
• 3+ years relevant experience in application engineering, product management, technical sales, or a similar technical customer-facing role.
• Technical aptitude and business acumen.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to influence and gain alignment across multiple functions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute 5-year product roadmaps, managing the product lifecycle from development to obsolescence.
• Set product priorities for new developments to optimize margins.
• Create comprehensive business cases outlining expected returns.
• Define product positioning and ensure designs meet customer use cases.
• Own product data integrity and structure, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with global data standards to enable effective commercialization, analytics, and digital tools.
• Gather and analyze Voice of Customer insights to inform product features and functionality.
• Translate market and customer insights into clear product requirements, features, and technical direction.
• Balance growth, cost, and profitability through disciplined product portfolio and lifecycle management.
