Job summary

Copeland in Indiana is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform repairs and routine maintenance on production machinery and facility systems to maximize uptime. The role covers electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical work, PLCs/CNC control, and safe wiring practices.

Requirements include 1–3 years in manufacturing maintenance, an associate degree or equivalent, ability to lift 50 lbs, and to operate lifts. Shifts vary; some outdoor work may be needed. Tools are provided.

Qualifications

1–3 years of work experience in manufacturing maintenance or equivalent.
Proficiency in hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical operations.
Knowledge of 480v three phase, control power, AC and DC circuits including motor starters and switch gear repairs.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Proficiency with blueprint reading and shop mathematics.

Responsibilities

Diagnose machine malfunctions and perform necessary repairs to maximize uptime.
Install, repair, rebuild, and maintain facility equipment.
Perform minor fabrication using mills, lathes, grinders, etc.
Maintain PLCs, CNC control circuits, and primary power.
Comply with safety rules, keep quality records, and support manufacturing processes.
