Job summary

Tempur Sealy is seeking a maintenance technician to join our on-site team in Crawfordsville, Indiana. The role focuses on HVAC systems, electromechanical repairs, and preventive maintenance within an automated manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has knowledge of HVAC, industrial electrical systems, and PLCs, with 1+ year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and work. On-site work with a strong safety culture and collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of HVAC, manufacturing equipment, and industrial electrical systems.
• Technical skills to build, program, integrate, service, maintain and operate PLCs used in automated plants.
• Associates degree (AAS) or equivalent from a two-year technical school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety guidelines and work as a team to achieve zero incidents.
• Observe equipment and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Perform electromechanical maintenance tasks and calibrations on analytical equipment.
• Respond to internal service requests and repair needs.
• Repair or replace defective parts and install components as required.
• Communicate issues to supervisor and participate in cross-functional meetings.
• Maintain clean, safe, organized work areas and uphold equipment standards.
• Work with HVAC and plumbing to keep facilities functional, indoors and outdoors.
