Qualifications

• Associate's degree in AC/Heating & Refrigeration and at least 3 years non-teaching work experience in the field.
• EPA Universal Certifications.
• TACL license (Texas Air Conditioning License) preferred.
• At least 4 years of provable HVAC work experience in the last 6 years in residential and commercial settings.

Responsibilities

• Teaches HVAC courses at various times and locations to meet institutional needs.
• Develops and uses a syllabus for each course or laboratory.
• Evaluates students and communicates progress timely.
• Recruits and advises students in their area.
• Manages classrooms and labs ensuring state compliance.
• Assists with student job placement.
• Collaborates with certification agencies for program alignment.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
